-Francesca Ceci, main character in many shows such as “Furore” (Rai due), actress in Enrico Brignano’s latest theatre play, host of the programme “Pole Position” broadcasted by Rai 2 -Veronica Cutonilli, main character in the TV show “Re per una notte” broadcasted by Italia 1 -Samantha Coco, who took part in the TV show “Non è la RAI” broadcasted by Italia 1
-Dana Ferrara, dancer in Telefaidate, Canale 5
-Valentina Vincenzi, Gianni Ippoliti’s partner in the show “Ballando con le stelle” (Dancing with the stars) broadcasted by RAI 1
-Valentina Cascapera, who took part in the programme “Amore” hosted by Raffaella Carrà, broadcasted by RAI 1

The international beauty contest “Star of the Year” was created by the Multimedia Centre by Claudio Marini and it was officially launched on the 7th January 2000 in the tv show “Cominciamo bene”. Afterwards, many important shows such as “Vita in diretta”, “Verissimo” and “Fuego” reported on our pageant. More than 1000 selections held during the past eigth years were reported by the most important newspapers and magazines at the national and local level.

Since its beginnings our contest has aimed at creating a real springboard to show business.
Any girl aged 14-28 years can participate (the International Board can make exceptions as far as the birth criteria are concerned).

The subscription and participation to our pageant are completely free of charge.
